Anand Damani

Author Name : Noam Chomsky

Avram Noam Chomsky is an American linguist, philosopher, political activist, author, and lecturer. His political activism for maximizing communal decision-making and his criticism of media for its manipulation of information have worldwide influence. While Chomsky is right about stopping participation in terrorism, he doesn’t suggest a way out for those at the risk of joining extremist activities. In all humility, completing this saying in the light of existential reality is a privilege which I humbly accept.

The intrinsic quality of human beings is living happily and harmoniously with each other. No one wants to participate in violence or terrorism. Human beings do what they understand to be right and beneficial for themselves. Wrongful activities like participating in terrorism are the manifestation of incorrect understanding that come from incomplete/incorrect inputs from society. Every human being despises violence and terrorism and feels bad from within about these activities no matter what ideology he belongs to. To make people stop participating in unwanted activities like terrorism, the need is to ensure that the culture passes down knowledge that is verified, logical and practicable. This knowledge needs to be necessarily aligned with the intrinsic human values of righteousness and truthfulness.
